Its mutually beneficial for both apple/google to team up with master+visa. But to think that apple would choose either master OR visa is incorrect. they need BOTH. Mastercard vs Visa gets asked a lot here and the answer is is flip a coin or add both. Which one out performs the other is anyones guess and the slightest of changes could account for it. My guess is any out performance from one wouldn't be significant compared to the other anyway. It’s worth pointing out that MA stock gained 19% in 2020, a decent performance by any measure.
